2012 Camaro V6 Swap to LS3.

UPDATE: Oil Cooler, and starter are bolted up. All the wiring on the motor is rerouted. Now it just leaves up to recieve the new motor mounts Monday, put them on the engine cradle and set the engine down on it. Then all that leaves with the motor is to bolt up the AC compressor and everything will be done with the motor. Then al that leaves us with is to fix some wiring and start swapping. How many of you are ready for this wait to be over? I know I sure am.

UPDATE: Big things happening today. We finally got the motor set up on the cradle today, along with getting the AC Compressor bolted up. We are now looking through all of the wiring to make sure everything is good. Hopefully this weather holds up and we can continue working all of this week. If so, we might have all of the stuff ready to go by next week. Everyone keep supporting, that's my motivation to get this thing done soon.

Looking good! I'd consider the heater relocation kit. Cleans thing up quite a bit...

Thank you so much! It really means a lot to me. Hopefully we can get this project rolling, so we can get it done. I'm so ready for my car to be a LS3/6-Speed.

I can't wait to see this get finished. This build flies in the face of most people's idea of a reasonable project, so I'm glad it's working out for you. Can't wait to hear that LS3 sing through those big long tubes and ATAK mufflers, either.

2012 Camaro V6 Swap to LS3.

UPDATE: Been working on the wiring harnesses the past few days and checking them over to make sure we don't have any bad wires. Seems Ike they are in pretty good condition and we just need to replace a few connector ends. Now that leaves us to mount the transmission, and give the motor a nice detailing, and everything is ready to go in. But next step is to tear my car apart. Who's ready for this motor to go in, so it can officially be a LS3 / 6-Speed car? I know I am.

This is some undertaking. Long ago are the days of a simple motor swap. Of course I don't remember those days since I'm only 30 and have only heard stories lol. Good luck we are all with you!
