^^ This is what keeps me awake at night, along with phrases like :

"it's on backorder with no ship date in sight",
"well, we found out that X doesn't work well with Y but there is a solution that only costs $....",

"well, we've never done that before but let's see if it could work".

And, the doozie: "Yeah, but you're not going to be driving it on public roads much anyways, so that doesn't really matter."

I wouldn't use lug nuts either...just wait for the loctite

I was thinking maybe just hammer in some wooden shims between the top of the cage and the roof of the car. That way if it ever gets loose we can just use bigger shims. Bingo! Cheap and effective.

What did you think of the quality of the rocker arms? Any benefits over the stock pieces with a trunion upgrade?

Great idea...that way when you're at the track and hear a rattle it'll be a quick and easy solution as well...you can almost consider it a weight reduction...just keep one of those hammers from oreilly in the car, you know, the one that can break glass, cut seat belts, and has a flashlight built into it

We chose Harland Sharp Rocker LS7 aluminum roller rocker system. This rocker system installs like the stock rockers by bolting them to the aluminum cradle stand. This means you don’t have to remove your heads for machine work. It’s a fully adjustable rocker that will require shorter length pushrods and a valve cover spacer for proper installation.
