exactly, the only thing I will look in to a bit later is moving the washer bottle and adding a scoop possibly. I imagine once I drive it a little bit I will get a sense if I want to relocate the bottle or not. seems to me it is getting better flow as is.

Any chance there is a more direct path for air on the 2010-2013 front end with the larger upper grille opening.
That may be. Only way to find out is if someone with a 10-13 puts it to the test!

That might yield some results.

Agreed! "The deflector is not a complete wall". It seems like enough air gets in there as it is. Although more air could be introduced by removing or modifying that baffle.

I thought about that, and I came to the conclusion that by removing the washer bottle it won't increase the air intake, as it's not in the way. The way the Z28 intake is built it would be more beneficial to remove the baffle behind the badge, or modify it to make it a scoop!

Ok I know I'm gonna get killed for asking this on this thread...but is their an advantage the Z28 intake has over say a CAI or Roto-Fab?

Have you seen the GAPS around those things at the fender, moving the bottle only helps keep the hot air blowing in from the engine compartment. Wear the Z28 only air opening is in the front and its most of it, compared to the AirRaid which uses the factory air tube.

Yes, most aftermarket intakes have many gaps, some gaps are huge. Most intakes offer an incomplete seal from the hot engine air. In my opinion there are only a hand full of aftermarket intakes that are well designed and well built. I chose the Z28 intake for looks, quality, and functionality. Now we know it also can hang with the best, performance wise!

Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Nice! I'm sure it would work just fine. Let us know your results.
