If they do come out with the HUD, would there be a way for those of us who have the 2010 MY to have it put in by Chevrolet?

I'm thinking that there will be some minor changes aimed at keeping the excitement alive - maybe a couple of new colors & options, maybe update the intake to squeeze out a few more hp. They will be getting some stiff competition from the 2011 mustang this summer. But, as you say, I doubt there will be anything major.

That could be part of the reason mustang sales are slow. If I wanted a mustang, I'd sure wait for the 2011...

I guess it depends on what you condiser significant. Parking lights changed and vent window delete....that's about it. For suspenison you mean single leaf to multi-leaf? Maybe significant but not really IMO. The did add a traction bar type mechanism in late '67 and '68 because of traction issues. That's about it.

Now....'67-'68 to '69......that was significant. In a way the '69 was a one year style. Most people don't see it that way but if you look at the '67-'68 vs the '69 there isn't a whole lot that interchanged (except for the drivetrain).

Back to the 5th Gen....No one really knows right now but I don't think they will change much at all. Maybe HUD and the power passenger seat. Possibly some different colors. Overall I think the syling will be the same with very minor tweaks.

Personally I wouldn't mind the HUD but I don't know that it will be worth the exta $$$ that they will start charging for it. My guess is it will be a $1,500 upgrade that will be rolled into the 2SS whether you like it or not. That's just an assumption though. The power passenger seat is supposed to be able to be retro fit. That I'll do if it's not outrageously priced.

Electronically it would probably be doable. Physicaly would be tough. There is no hole in the dash right now where a hud would go. So basicallt the entire dash would need to come out and be either modified or replaced to install it. The labor costs alone would be huge.

First...not 100% on these...or even for the 2011 model year at that...but...

HUD will most likely be an option.
Passenger seat should have the electric ability to raise or lower.
Someone mentioned memory driver seats...but I don't know about that...
I think RHD will be announced or offered soon...
The overseas cars might get wipers on the headlights...crazy...don't know why...

About all I heard.

And welcome!

Congrats. As a fellow, former Mustang owner I know what you mean about having to get your hands on a new Camaro.
