Yes I would be interested in hearing it as well, my first time ever installing a turbo or any fi to be exact in a shoe box garage with very little room and on jack stands plus also just doing it when I had a chance between work and watching my son it still took no where near the time I believed it would, I had a few set backs but the agp is so well manufactured I think Helen Keller could of installed it with less issues and time that hp has taken, there is no excuse for that amount of time for a well known performance shop imo

Well spill it, I'm sure we're all just waiting to hear how the op is just being impatient, and demanding an in realistic level of quality. Enlighten us all please.

Interesting section with comments from xtremiroc at the end, could this be the mechanic that worked on your car at hp?

In these situations I know its always the tendency to side with our fellow car owner and trash the shop. But you really need to hear both sides of a story. I'm not saying either side is right or wrong. But consumers tend to be able to blow off anything they want while a business needs to be much more careful.

Lets reserve judgement here...and wish the best for both sides on this one.

Yes.. it took me a long time type this up for our Htown forum to explan our situation . Plus Hp actually called KP racing yesterday to slander us.. Jay from hp didn't realize Angela was messaging Amber the whole time while we were there for advice during our discussion of the bill for work done that was never quoted or discussed. I showed up at HP motorsports at 530 with my wife and and a witness to take the car.. Hp told kpracing that they told us they were tired of us and to come get the car at 830 at night.. which of course isn't remotely true. They even told us they got a lawyer on retainer.. funny thing is angela works for an one.. and we faxed a countersuit if it comes to that.

This is what club members, will read backed by all texts and emails...

Bad Experience with one of our Sponsors!

As you many of you know our car has been at HPmotorsports since Dec 6th. We have kept most of the members and officers abreast of the situation for those of you that do not know whats going on here it is.

We put 6000.00 down on a Blower motor built by LME on Sept 24 2015, We were told it would take 6 to 8 weeks to finish which is very common. Early Nov it was done and at that time I was instructed by Jay to pay the rest on the motor and an additional 1000.00 to gather parts to assemble the motor. A few weeks went by and nothing had been bought nor were we scheduled. I called them and said that I would buy the parts and not to purchase the parts (I was upset nothing was happening). I purchased every Gm gaskets and seal, BTR Cam, AGP turbo kit, and triple disc monster clutch. This was a few days before black Friday. On Dec 2nd we were at hp with all the parts to do the build. This happen to be the HPD dyno night.. So we took a look at the kit, motor and all the parts needed for the job that night. Jay said and I quote "we need to get you on the schedule", I also asked if he found a buyer for my SC because he said he would do that but, no didn't get to it yet, I said no problem I found someone. Chris Esparza a new member said he would buy it but, didn't want to pay for the kit until he saw it working and running. I wasn't comfortable with that but, agreed. So he got us on the schedule to come in on DEC 6th (keep in mind they told us to come in... you will read later why this is important, my car has to come in, remember it still had the blower on it). So I told them to do Chris's car first so I could get paid. When i saw that the kit was taken off I was upset, basically it shouldn't have been torn down that far because its factory sealed... It's not like the LSA that the lid comes off and there hidden bolts to attach it. When I saw the blower at HP all apart I was upset cause that's the mistake fast made supposedly making me get a rebuild from a vacuum leak. Anyhow Chris was promised dates that weren't met for the car to be finished. It finally was but not with out a bad idle problem. Guess what brooks told Chris... " Oh the blower needs to be rebuilt it shouldn't cost but 5 to 700.00 so you can imagine I'm furious cause the blower was rebuilt less than 8000 miles ago from FAST's screw up and you all saw us drive it with no problems, Hell Angela and Bee kicked as at Grandsport! So here I am worried Chris will back out of the deal.. He was also told by Brooks or Jay that this is a 2015 car not 2010 the computer isn't as forgivable on the idle " Chris will back up this information cause this is what was told to him by HP" the computer is identical we all know this tuning is the same what a load of BS!*This is the whole reason I didn't go to our new years eve party!*I didn't want to mess up y'alls time cause when I lose my temper bad things happen unfortunately plus I'm not going to hang out with someone that said I sold a member a bad blower cause they can't tune worth a crap which leads me to this... I told Jay Eldelbrock would fix this problem under warranty if there really was a problem but he needed to do the following things.. Smoke test or pressure test, check linkage on vacuum line that works the valve on blower, and the orings since the hole for the injectors are larger than normal LS3 manifolds... He told Chris all this was checked and they did get it not die all the time.. Chris asked and asked to get it re looked at but they didn't get back to him. So he took it to Pietz Performance and Alex hooked the smoke machine to it.. voila capped off vacuum leaking and another 2 lines left off.. Alex had to re-tune it and its perfect now! Here I do the leg work for them and they didn't do it or couldn't perform it, you draw your own conclusion!

Back to Bee! Well all through Dec and middle of Jan still no progress on Bee but, several Instragram's of the 16 reaper getting its motor pulled at least 3 times, or other cars getting out of the shop.. And another example Tony's camaro in and out in record speed of course they botched that to..or Corey's Car.. Just examples.. After being told it will be ready maybe by Christmas, Then by New Years, then by Jan 18th and now promised for sure by the MAST motorsports cruise "Guys it will be ready for the cruise even if I have to deliver it at midnight" this was Thursday.. the day before even if it was ready it wouldn't be road trip ready..

So they get it all together no tune or start up of course, and at 1030 pm i get a text the night before we leave at 6 am to meet up for the MAST cruise the clutch slave blew the seal out the front.. They said it was just a bad slave..Monster sent another within 2 biz days, But the car set for a good week before it was touched... we didn't know why. So Angela sent a text saying "Jay we feel like we are not a priority, you have had the part for a whole week nothing has been done, I hate to say it but this is what Fast did to us"*SEE PICS FROM MY PHONE SCREEN SHOT FROM JAYS LETTER ANSWERING ANGELA"*So they finale get to the car again and the same thing happens again. They finale figure out that the slave is to short so monster has them show them how the clutch is assembled because they have never seen this..(*I had to stay on Jay to make sure he talked to Monster) the only thing they can think is that I got a dbl clutch and a triple slave or the clutch is assembled wrong then, the owner says you are using the spacer aren't y'all? By now the mess is passed to Geoff and I am on a 3 or 4 way chat with Jay, Jeff, and Steve from Monster. Geoff is like what spacer we didn't see a spacer.. So HP excuse is that it didn't come with one. But who knows, that's what happens when 3 or 4 guys fix your car. Was it there or not? None the less Monster send the spacer and another slave, the parts come next day again I call to see if they get it and was told that another car comes before ours because when you start another car while waiting for parts on yours you would have a lot of unfinished cars to that extent..*READ TEXT PIC.

By this time, Members, our friends, and Officers are asking whats up with bee, why aren't y'all doing events.. so we showed them the emails and texts on how the sponsor treats club members. Word got to Matt about our bee and he stopped by 2 week ago with out us knowing. I do not know what was told to him by hp. I do know that we were just getting back in town from Dallas just after he left, So we did a surprise stop I wanted to see if the car was ready or even being worked on for that matter cause its now been sitting for 2 weeks with a new slave and spacer because we were promised all the week he would be done by blah blah blah the date changed every day. When we got there Doug was working on his own car, dan was messing with reaper and my car was on lift and tranny was back in but not much done. We went inside and Jay was asleep at counter. I text Jay the following*READ PIC TEXT Dec 2.*was basically told off and come get the car screw HTCC I'm done with y'all and them well you read for your self.

During the above time was promised the car numerous times but no deadline met. So last week coming back from Dallas again after the car was supposed to be ready Friday and now Saturday. We called becasue we were near and Jay told us to come by he wanted to show us something.. He said look at the screen the dyno reads 484.7 rwhp the injectors are maxed out.. I was like that's impossible I was running 13 psi on eforce and was at 70% with 627 rwhp on mustang and 647 on dynometer. Was told these 3 things:

1. Those aren't ID850s and FAST maybe did a switcharoo!
2 Dirty injectors, I was like i never really seen bad injectors in 20 years unless its set up or e85 set up
3. Some valve on the fuel tank Hat

Dan opened his big mouth this is a 416 it's a bigger motor it gonna need bigger injectors I was like these are good for X amount of power these injectors don't know that! And besides its 5psi

So we have the Corvette Chevy show next weekend which is today! Angela was upset so Jay makes a promise to have some stuff painted and the car cleaned and he will figure out the fuel system problem.. While we were there we pulled an injectorto verify they were ID850s yes they were Ids then he say I need to call Injector dynamic Monday to make sure there 850s of course there the smallest they make but, okay!... "He says look I even hired a contractor from SAM to help tune the car he also said we could take car as is" We were like idiots well ok... Then we went to Rudy's to meat up with everyone and I informed my friend and other members what happened and they said get the car outta there! I knew it would get bad after this..So I text Jay at Rudy's Can you put the injector back in so we can get the car, He said I'll have it ready Monday. So Angela and I went there after work and the SAM guy was changing plugs.. This at 530 pm Travis went with us I'm glad he did he will be a good witness to what went down if we make it to court, So I walk over and the contractor said 2 of the plug wire which I supplied are now broken, HP didn't even use Dielectric grease so naturally they pull by the wire and break them. Then Jay walks up and say uh Brooks had like 3 sets of Id850s laying around for the reaper just take these its okay.. I was like so the car not out of fuel? NO its good as soon as we get the plugs in we will make pulls and then you can take it.

So I helped put in the plugs on my side BTW my Bill is 3000.00 and I'll surprise you later with the bill like you did us LOL! So I see it start for the first time and its blowing smoke bad... Come to find out they called 3 to 4 times to AGP to try and figure out how to get the timer to stay on longer, each time a different person called. Amber told me she called and did it right the 1st time over the phone with Kevin. I left out a lot above about HP complaining that the kit didn't fit correctly and this was an excuse to justify a long install time. I called AGP on HP behalf's to speed things up and AGP said all you gotta do is clock the turbo and loosen the manifold bolts a tad then cinch it up after it lining up.. In the air at KP I was showed and told the same thing and they don't know why they didn't listen and welded and extension for nothing on a PLUG N PLAY kit that do it your selfers do at home in 8 hours yet it took HP 16 hours with a lift to o install and 625 bucks to saw up my ZL1 grill and lengthen 3 inch pipe!*

So its now about 10pm and we are trying to take car out of HP... Angela and I are thinking we only owe a few hundred bucks cause we are going off the original quote, No other quotes were ever given, No other dollar amounts were discussed at all, we were surprise to see the labor jump from 2500.00 to R & R motor and reinstall blower to 3100.00 ( I called agp and asked how long it took to install over a blower and they said they do it in 6 hours but most shops should do it in 8hrs. ) this was back Sept after I chose to do a blower motor build Jay was ok with what AGP said to me, but he never did do another bill for the agp kit vs putting my eforce back on. They also had fab work for a Plug N Play turbo on the bill LOL, I was like how? "well I was up here till 1030 trying to get the car ready for MAST cruise and pipes weren't reaching".. I said this is a new plug N play kit if there was problem AGP would of fixed it for free this wasn't discussed I'm not paying that that's, BS! Also they had 2200 extra labor for there clutch fiasco which they blame on Monster and Monster said they would cover it even though they think the shop is incompetent.

The whole experience is/was bad, No communication, deadlines never met, Pricing never approved, Terrible work ( KP so far has found oil lines laying on the turbos, bad plug wires, V bands not attached all the way, exhaust leaks, oil leaks, and oil in my exhaust from not knowing how to set the timer and a terrible tune). Brooks and Jay even had the nerve to call KP and slander Angela and I and tell them that it was them that told us to come get the car.. Amber didn't fall for it though she was helping Angela not freak out the whole time we were at HP while I was arguing about there terrible work and the bill!

Got a email saying that we are going to be sued for slander form C5 posts I swear I haven't said anything that isn't true here or there and I have texts and emails to back it.*

Sorry to inform everyone about one of our sponsor, It started out that we felt like we weren't important and our car was a side project especially since they were working on our car mostly after hours while during the day seeing post of reaper 16 getting the motor pulled again and again during business hours, and that other cars come first since they had to wait 2 days max for a replacement part on our car, then other put ahead of us when we were told there not going to put us ahead of people..

Thanks,

Jack

Sounds like you have your ducks in a row. It's a shame their are shops out there that do people like this. I'm so glad ADM had my car. Good luck with your car and I hope you get it back real soon.
