There are factory stripes and dealer installed stripes. I guess it depends which you ordered.

My stripes are factory installed, but no matter who installs them, a week seems like a bit too much. :/

I didn't think they were doing dealer installed stripes anymore?? I think they're all factory now.

Hmm, I don't know. I didn't order stripes because I wanted to wait and do something different once I have the car. I just remember seeing on the "build your car" thing on Chevy's website, that there were 2 options for stripes.

All of the stripes are done at the factory, see the link;

Thanks. I actually found in some other threads that it takes around two weeks to get to Houston. The train comes into a north suburb, and since I ordered from Classic in Sugarland it should be on a truck pretty quick. A 50 mile trip the dealership and it's all good.

It's so strange, the dealership that I bought from is North of Richmond and the train depot is South of Richmond. There are train tracks right behind my dealership - I drove over them during my test drive. I guarantee you my train is going to go down those tracks! Yea. I'm in the same boat. The train actually offloads 10 miles north of my house. Instead I have to wait for it to get on a truck and go all the way to the other side of town!

I know! I live between the dealership and the train depot! Actually, closer to the dealership.
