What you can do is wait for your insurance to get back on it, then place it in a ditch somewhere and call it in as stolen. Can you say insurace fraud? xD

Seriously though, option 3 for the win.

The same model, get it insured full coverage... Let them
Take
Pics of the borrowed, wait about a month and report a claim

I like Idea 4 better: Put insurance on it and then a couple of days later...oops, lost control of it. Then have insurance pay for it. Yes, I am sure their would be a big investigation.
