Well People I did a trip to Prince George BC and back to Canmore yesterday via hiway 93 (ice fields parkway) and they have the gravel cleaned off of the main hiway but the turnouts(viewpoionts) are still gravel covered and still lotsa snow up top of the mountians.
On hiway 1 from Lake Louise to Banff there is road construction so we should expect some delays.
Just a FYI for us all

Saaaweeet, you get to drive all the way back after you get er all beefed up. 10 hours of pure enjoyment.....or less. I can just see you burning up the kokahala hill.
(Sorry don't know hotel as I am not doing the overnight.)

I just confirmed I have three days off for the 12th, 13th and 14th and I will be ready for the drive to Red Deer and then to rocky mountain house afterwards.

Instead of staying in Banff, I will be staying in Thompson Creek as its got some of the best camp stalls in the entire rockies and its just outside of the park boarders which means I dont need to pay up for nightly park fees. Sites are $15/night with firewood costing $5 a wheelbarrel full. The folks who run the provential grounds are very friendly which adds to the great experience.

Banff the town is about an hour and twenty minutes from the campsite as you make your way down hwy 93

Bluch, Bumbleebee_ss, where are you guys staying at again?

On another note, for all of us staying in and around banff this weekend, will it be possible to host a small 30min gathering on Sunday if possible? Reason being is thats when I will be making it into Banff from the campsite, very early Sunday morning. Maybe we could meet for breakfast? 9am? I know most people probally will head home Sunday so I was just throwing this out there

I got the Summit White. still completely stock. looking into some options for rims, tint, etc... but for now it is stock. less than 500km on it right now.

still waiting on my work schedual though so not sure if I can make it.
