Steering wheel controls are an option for both the LT and SS models so there shouldn't be any problem Savage. You just need the switches and the harness and then get the BCM reprogrammed.

Just ordered the switch and harness as well as the PDIM from gmpartsdirect. So, how do I switch the onstar module to get the bluetooth pairing for calling with my phone, if it's even possible?

Got mine all installed and fits perfectly. I did it myself. I didn't even take the Air bag off/ risk damaging the spring. I just left it hanging while I quickly popped out the silver plastic piece and swapped the switch out. Thank you Darth for fabricating the harness for me. I tried taking it down to the dealer today and they were to busy to get to me today. They told me to come back tomorrow morning. I guess they didn’t want my money today.

Hopefully they get you in tomorrow. Now that I have the steering wheel controls I don't know how I managed without them. I use them every time I get into my car.

my harness and switches will be here tomorrow. hopefully they'll get here early on in the day and the rain will hold off so i can install them tomorrow. can't wait
