Welcome. There is actually another thread concentrating on weight (fat) loss and diet but it seems some visit for a while looking for help then disappear most likely because of lack of dedication.

I figured this will help keep myself accountable, this is officially my before. As those that know me can see , being out of the gym for months during recovery has taken it's toll. I've lost a lot of size and put on a few in the midsection. I'm working on it.

Yup I did 17.1 yesterday at noon. I had originally planed not to register and just be a cheerleader for my friends but.... peer pressure lol. everyone in my class was telling me to register so I did Sunday morning and went in with a few crossfit friends. one judged me. did not complete the whole under the time cap but was happy that I did it! I RX'd it too woot! but right now my back hate me lol. Got some Biofreeze and Ibuprofen at my desk right now.

Monique's has bothered her past 2 days as well. But she will be doing it again this afternoon. She should make it into the 14's, possibly high 13's, with what she will be doing different. This is of course provided she doesn't give out.

I appreciate the flattery but the tape doesn't lie. lol

It's not like I have totally fallen apart but I've get a ways to go to get back to the size and strength I was at.

It's hard to believe that a rotor cuff tendon could still be problematic 14 months after surgery but I can perform most of my usual exercises but I am still limited to weight on lifts that are effected by that tendon, which is most pressing and overhead work. I figure if I can get two solid months in the gym I'll bounce back somewhat quickly.

She did awesome 2nd time around. I knew there was a lot of room for improvement.

As of this writing that will put her top 50 worldwide out of 16000 or so in her age group.

Sara Sigmundsdottir was at the gym today. Awesome to see her train in person.
