The building is my Dad's. The 9000 lb Bend-Pak four post lift is mine. If anyone would like to use the lift with their Camaro, just PM me and I'll see if we can make it available. Jrhaus76 - let me know when you are ready to tackle your Honda's timing belt and I'll help you out.

Perhaps we could have a cook out here in the spring. My family does cook outs in the building a few times a year and always makes home made ice cream. We turn the lift into a large buffet table with everyone bringing a dish or two.

I didn't check what transmission was in the 350Z.

Seems like a lot of work to light up those buttons.

Awesome all around. Cook outs are fun. We are going to do the same this year. A cook out/bon fire. We have been clearing downed trees out of our woods so we will need to burn it. As long as people are up for a nice drive in the country, we have a nice place to do a cook out and bon fire. It is about an hour and a half or so from Dayton and Columbus.

I agree BUT it really pisses you off trying to find them in the dark. I am with you heinz. We might as well do this when we do the light tape dash and door mods!

Speaking of, when are we doing that? Are we going to try to squeeze it in before we go to GA or just wait and do it in the summer when its nice and more of us can get together. I am also wanting to do the DRL to led fog mod. Was reading up on it again today.

I am in for all the mods except the doors. I have ordered the P13Ws and will check with the dealer this week about the light switch to the non-RS/HID upgrade switch. We can ginny pig with me if you want. I am also looking at upgrading the interior lamp to LED. Good advice from forum mbr.

I hate the dark Home link buttons! It is very hard to see what button to push so this thread looks like a MUST upgrade. I can do just about anything with a human body, and am pretty savvy with a lot of mechanical, but when it comes to wiring, I get gun shy so would love to jump in if I am in town to do the mods.

Once I get all these cosmetic mods done, it time to start working on the engine, tranny and suspension.

i am not sure if anyone is doing the full around the bottom on the doors. Kristen doesnt like it so we wont be. I think bartking was thinking he'd try it. The door mod we are going to do is so it is equally bright all the way across, not petering out on the end. Then we will continue it accross the dash and do the homelink buttons while everything is ripped apart. As long as we get all the parts ahead of time, we should be able to whip out several cars at once.

Sounds great. I would be happy to send $ to whoever is ordering parts and will pay for all S/H if you or heinz would double up the order. I am in for the doors as described above. I didn't care for the wrap around.

Let me know if you all want me to order more than one light switch assembly. I could order multiple if others want them or you can wait on me to see how it works out. I will shoot you an email or PM me you cell # and I can call while I am at the dealership. They were closed on sat. I plan to talk to them about the switch, but it seems to me it should work.

Sanding pieces for the light to shine through is what seems to takes time. Whipping out several cars at once may not be possible unless everyone is sanding.

I intended to extend the light on my doors this weekend but I spent too much time on the shifter. I'm still trying to follow the various dash & door ABL threads for new developments. I'm going to review them all tonight and take some notes. The light tape looks interesting including extending it further around the doors; however, it definitely is pricey and they say it is very bright. The EL wire is inexpensive and I've seen the results in person and it looked very good like OEM. Using original GM parts seemed to require more modifications (cutting).

Lighting the homelink buttons would be very helpful. They cannot be seen in the dark and I find them tough to find by touch.

You go ahead and try yours first... If it works well I will do mine....

Ahh, yes the sanding would take time. Forgot about that. You have ot be very careful with that I read. Well I am game for whatever. As for the brightness. i do not want any brighter than stock. I dont want to feel like I am at a disco. I like subtle light but I do want it to be consistent accross the top of the doors and dash.

There will be some sort of game associated with it. I got it free so I will give it to whoever wins whatever game I come up with. My last game was guess my VIN. That was fun! Let me think about it. Maybe it will be "guess my HP/TQ"... or maybe I will make you all just find out what it is! The people that I know who have LS3:

Heinz, GC, SilverIceMan, Drew, LS3_Camaro... where the hell has he been?, 1 RD JEWL... am I missing anyone? Oh, theres Randy, I forget his screen name.

Anyone already have the jumper?
Is it 4:10 gears manufactured by Richmond? I don't know what is going on here...Where the hell am I and what am I sitting in.... Damn you jrhause76, your a sick twisted man.

Can't wait to see them...
