The Meet and Greet car show sounds like fun. I'm up for it!

John and Glen, thanks for the update on the test n tune. It would have sucked being the only one there.

Hey Guys/Gals:

Been floating around here a while, but had to make a new account...etc.

I have a 2011 Red Jewel Coat 1SS/RS L99.

I bought it the day after I arrived in Tucson in early December. If you are on D-M, I'm the guy with the jewel coat without the nickel gas door - and the other is a 6.

Planned Mods: Ram Air, Exhaust, Headers, Bow Tie Delete or Blackout, Removable Aftermarket Amp/Sub Combo.

Always been a F-Body fan, as I had a 1997 Z28, 2001 FFI V6T Vert Bird, and 2002 WS6 T/A in the past. The last 2 were sold in Germany when I got orders to Japan. Recently sold a 1986 Buick GN - we won't talk about that, LOL.

Welcome Mike! I've been saying that the only color I'd trade my car for is the red jewel. Good thing for you I'm on the opposite side of town as I have only seen a red jewel a couple times and I would end up drooling all over your car.

Thanks for the welcoming! Glad to be here. Yeah the jewel coat grew on me...I first saw one this color and was like hmm, maroon...but then I saw one washed and it popped out nice. I do like the CGM, but wow everyone has one, you know? I would have gotten a orange, but its not enough sunburst for my liking...

Hope to see your car on base soon. I'm over in AMARG, but spend my lunches on main base. Got the call yesterday that my car invoiced, and should arrive in 2 weeks. I keep looking for Camaros on base, and surprised I don't see more.

Bob Lee, Glen, and myself are going to meet with Watson Chevy this Saturday and come up with a Meeting night. We are thinking once a month, not sure what night yet. Does anyone have any input on this? This maybe a good way to swap information, catch up, and plan any thing. There is not a cost for this, that I know of, and we still will be a free and easy going group
