The best part about home ownership in NY is that you can pay 3-4 times more in real estate tax than you do in VA. And have shittier roads and bridges. But the welfare slugs in NYC eat good and get great cell phones.

Haha, there are much more knowledgeable guys up your way in the club, on a side note, you should come to the Fillmore show, good time and good venue. Anyone else plan on going to that one?

Fillmore Show

For anyone interested you have to pre-register for this show to be judged and to be on the show field. Anyone not pre-registered will have to park in the designated section by the entrance. Entries for pre-registration must be postmarked by Aug 27th.

Make sure you have a garage big enough to hold the Z for the winter!!! you will not want to hit the roads with all the salt and snow!! a lot of us store our cars for the winter.

Welcome to CNY!

I pay about 6k in property taxes now, so taxes up there are no shock to me. Definitely looking at places that have the capability of storing the car. Had it for two years, and put 3400 miles on it down here. What am I going to put on up there, 800 a year? It is definitely a fair weather car.

Or you can drive them year round and then trade them in after 5 years (I think my old one looks pretty good for 120k miles)

I'm glad they are keeping all my mods on.
