That is the best aftermarket hood I've seen, and it's perfect for your use.

Thx. The intake runner length was maxed out to just clear this specific hood since offered quite a bit more clearance in the center.

I like that hood a lot! I may get something like that eventually, but I have run out of mod money for now.

I was there Thursday. I took the taillights out and shipped them to ACC Style to get the afterburner taillights.

I also ordered the QTP electric exhaust cut outs.

speedster,
Excuse my ignorance, but it legal to use race gas on the street? Where do you buy it? Only at a track?

I'd love to see the face of a service station person at a full service station when speedster pulls in and he says "fill it up" and the service attendant opens the fuel door and s/he sees more than one option.

depending on where you are, you can get race gas at different places. South GA sells 106, 108, & 110, i believe

there's a regular station back home that has 100 out back

I don't remember ever seeing it here in Ohio, but that may be because I've never really looked for it. I'll open my eyes when I drive from now on.

Some stations sell 100 octane. Race tracks usually have one or more of 100, 110, 112, 114, 118.

The secondary fuel tank on the SST will have a bunch of C-16 in it which is around 120 R+M/2 octane.
