Convertible Cadillac? I'm intrigued ... CTS?
Sounds like no 6th gen Camaro reveal for NAIAS, are rumors correct? If so, a bit disappointed.

I bet they will make an ATS vert.
I would say no 6th gen for Detroit. But I think they should make an announcement

It would be rather odd to announce that a car won't be at an autoshow ... especially if they never said that it would be there in the first place. Just think of the press releases that would have to be made for each and every autoshow if the OEMs told everyone what wouldn't be there:

The Spark is today's Chevette.... I had 2 Chevettes back in the day, a 76 and 81. Put many miles on those cars... Now I have a Spark..... Gone full circle.

A question for the GM experts out there.
I see the 1500 will have the 6.2 with 8-speed auto soon. Why does the 2500HD gasser get stuck with the old 6.0? |

HD trucks are on a different product cycle than the light duties. They get exterior/interior changes to bring them in line with redesigned 1500s but powertrain updates come later.

Seems like the 6.2 has been around in some form or another since 2010, but has never made it to the HD's. I wonder why that is. |

New Duramax is already in the testing stages.
I've heard GM doesn't feel the 6.2L is durable enough for the rigors of HD applications. Don't know for sure.
