One other thought,,,,, one of the most informed and respected people on this board is these guys boss,,,, so who do you think is closer to the info?
Also, what better way to get info out there than to leak it at the shows.

After watching all the training videos yesterday, I'd say it's probably not a good sign that ABL wasn't mentioned once. :(

Thanks for the info. guys! We understand you're just passing on what you were told. Best we all start preparing for "doors only" just in case. Start makin' your plans guys and gals, not that there's much choice but to accept it or delay ordering. But remember, it's not official yet.

Doors only is NOT ABL. I would hope GM understands that and compensates us...that is NOT what they have advertised as ABL.

It would be like showing a car with black paint and then only painting half of it. No.

I doubt that we are even getting it on the doors, whatever, i just want my fricken car, and i dont i should wait just because every dealer should have 1 v6 just to gain more orders, just to make the line even longer

As cool as it would be to have abl I could really careless about it. I just want the damn car like TJ91 plus you can add neon lights later.

I cared soo much about this feature, but with all the delays, and the lack of responses regaurding ABL, i already know that we wont be getting the ABL that was promised, whether its on the doors, if its on the car at all, i just dont care anymore...sad.....but this stupid constraint on v6s is just pathetic, having to wait an extra month or soo just for showroom cars that will only lead to more sold-orders which would take even longer to order. Even if i ordered an SS, i would be pissed right now because i think its unfair. Its not loyal to sold-order customers, if someone would like to debate this, feel free but i would like to know what you ordered first before you do so

I paid for this and want it just like it was shown. For months being told to shut up and stop speculating, to "keep the faith", that everything was just rumors. They better not screw this up.

^^ I hear ya both. I care so much about this feature I can't even put it in words anymore. If for some miracle that full ABL actually happens and it is in my 2SS when I get it, I am engraving "StoutFiles Special Edition" on the glove box. I couldn't be more serious about this lol.

When we were at the Philly auto show Scott and Samantha both talked about ABL. Samantha stated it was going to be in the car, but only the doors were going to light up.

Neither of them stated it would not be in the car or that the trim would not go across the dash. Samantha said due to asthetics the door trim would be the only part that lights up. I believe the trim will be in the car as it is in the show vehicles right now.
