NOLA would be great and has hosted major events such as the Superbowl, the partying would be outrageous, we have Mardi Gras, the food is out of this world, but LA is known for it's corrupt officials and that makes it a possibility that this facility might never be completed, much less for next year. I like the idea of the central part of the country. I made the trip to Az, and I'm going to Canada in June. A C5 Fest that moves around gives everybody a chance to attend without having to drive too far. Some will drive no matter how far because it gives the opportunity to meet new friends and have an adventure they haven't had yet.

NOLA would be great, or somewhere in Texas. I'm a college student in Texas (will be a senior next year). I haven't been able to go to either fest due to how close they are to finals and how far they are away from me... So somewhere in Texas or NOLA is my vote.

NOLA or TX, go somewhere that people can actually run a time. Kind of thought part of the idea was to put some good times on the board ??? maybe, sure didnt happen in AZ, most of what I saw was terrbile times compaired to what they normally run.

High altitude, 90 degrees, low humidity... do the math. It was expected that times wouldn't be too great. I did see some 11 runs though, and if you alter them for sea level you might be surprised what they would have run somewhere back east. I do agree with you though, next fest should have better conditions for good times.

Charlotte would be great. Fantastic drag strip and plenty of room for vendors and car shows. Area has plenty of hotels and restaurants, plus there is the NASCAR hall of fame for sightseeing.
