Yeah I think like 18 cans would be good to cover the whole thing and be safe.

How'd you mask them? I'm trying to think of the best way.
I just used blue painters tape and outlined the chrome of the bow tie and rs. Took a lot of time but then just COVERED the car around it with newspaper and did a good 4 coats. Waited about 3-5 minutes. The rear fascia was ok, had to tape off bow tie again...but was easy. Just like many others say, peel the tape ASAP. I did that on the front bumper and it looks amazing. Hopefully adding silver tubing to the edges to match my stripes soon and thanks a lot! Can't wait to see your car with it!

I actually just taped off the very bottom piece that connects to the paint. Then just did an eye visual and lined up the tape out of the corner or the grille. It's hard to explain. But then I just put newspaper under the car and sprayed 3 light coats, peeled the tape off ASAP and there you go. It's simple. Won't take no time and looks great. Just make sure you put just enough coats so you can't see the paint. And the more time that goes by the better it looks. Don't get mad if it doesn't look too great right off the bat. Hope it helped

Re-did my LS7-style trunk black out. took about 45min to prep the area by washing and masking off. I left my emblem on but I taped it off too. Edges came out nice and sharp. I sprayed on about 2 coats on surfaces that were furthest away from the taped edges then spayed heavier coats last around the taped edges then peeled the tape away quickly. Crappy iphone pics while I'm parked in a dark garage on campus.

I'm not sure depends if the clear bra is porous or not. If so the Plasti dip may not come off easy.
