I bought a new 2015 about 18 months ago and have been trying to verify the build count of the "V8 Coupe Performance Package", option code VPX. I just heard back from GM on this build count request I have been making for the Camaro VPX option package. After a couple of letters I then sent an email to the GM Heritage Dept, and got back an email answer from Christo Datini who said;
"My contact at the GM Accessories group indicates that 155 Camaros were equipped with the VPX package for 2015. Best, Christo" I send back a reply requesting an official letter from GM so it would be fully official. I hope that they can do that, and will post it if I can obtain it. Can this be added by the author to the 2015 build counts under MISC item, or do we need the official letter? Can someone help obtain an official letter? Thanks!

Thanks for the info on the Commemorative. Shame they couldn't break them down by color. I have yet to see one like mine in my area. I have seen a gray 2LT but not a RedHot 2SS/RS. In fact I have only seen a black 2SS Commemorative about a year. One thing I love about my car, not seeing anyone like it around me.

My local dealership in Northern California has one for sale. Car has 21k miles and they are asking low 30’s for it. It’s a pretty neat car! Never really seen one up close In person until today.

thread bump.....
Thanks for the build counts, found out that my car is one of 7,124 because of the polished 19 inch wheels on a 1LT. In 2013 i could have bought a 1LT with the 19's but i didn't. Kinda cool to have them now, wouldn't care if it was 90,xxx sets ordered

Being a numbers guy. I do appreciate the time and effort that goes into compiling this data. Thank you.
I have a 2013 1SS/RS. Of the 3092 1SS coupes made is anyone aware of any available data that would show the number RS cars ordered with this configuration? Last edited by Danial; 12-27-2019 at 10:38 PM. |

On My window sticker I have lines that say "Unique", Does that really mean I have the ONLY one that has a given option? Or maybe it was the 1st one to receive the option perhaps?
2010 Camaro 2SS Coupe EXTERIOR FEATURES UNIQUE SS FASCIAS WITH LOWER EXTENSION, FRONT AIR SCOOP, BRAKE COOLING SLOTS UNIQUE LOWER GRILLE AND REAR DIFFUSER UNIQUE TAIL LAMPS PRIX TOTAL PRICE $49,230.00 I ALSO FOUND THE BILL OF SALE AND IT WAS OVER $58K. I bought the car from a Corvette dealer in Dallas with only 8k miles on it and its fully built, BMR adjustable suspension all around, Nitto Drag Radials,CAI, Kooks 2in Long tube Headers , X Pipe, Flowmasters, Cammed tuned but dont know what or who, two step toggle line lock w LED on ctr guage cluster, It looks to me like the man wanted a z28 and this is what he came up with. He was either a dealer himself or worked for at the dealership. The car was imported to the Arlington assembly plant where it sat for 2 years before bouncing around DFW Corvette dealerships and falling into my lap. They never looked at the car just posted it cause they sell Corvettes! Lucky me, had to take another $2750 off the sale price because the upgrades voided the warranty, bumper to bumper GM 3yr 36000mile on a 10 year old car that never saw much pavement, I think its a cool mystery and would love to know if anyone can explain the "unique" build options. |

Do you have the RS package on this car ? OEM ground effects ? I believe thats where "Unique" is coming from. Looking at my build sheet it also shows unique tail lamps under the Rally Sport Package description. |

I just bought a 2015 Camaro convertible SS with the Commemorative package and the Indy Festival Car package, #82 of 100. Is this the correct forum to list this in and discuss it? My first Camaro since my 69 I had back in the early 70’s.
