No way we would really know, other than to see if they fix the existing known defects that they are refusing to do.

That is just a brief list in less than 3 months that happened to my car. From day one of ownership on 8/4/11 till my buyback day of 2/14/12 the car was in the shop or waiting on parts for 101 days. POS in my opinion.

Uh what does that have to do with it being a convertible? Smart!

Forgot to post the most important thing, top was replaced at 1500 miles then crapped out again at 3000. I also did state the top handle broke along with the window trim falling off. Coupes do not have rear window trim.

Uh, like I said why would you get another convertible? I guess it's not all convertibles! My friend didn't have a problem with his convertible neither! So if you're going to agree with a general statement make sure everyone's vert including your two has issues!

Well this thread is officially worthless now. Only a matter of time before it's godwined and closed. Was a decent conversation while it lasted.

I guess I believe in giving everyone a second chance. Is that so bad to do? I waited my whole life to get a new Camaro SS Convertible. I got one and it went to shit. The second one has been better. But what really made my choice was driving through the Ford lot in my old car, top down looking at Mustangs and getting the thumbs up from the Ford Salesmen.
And by your logic, just cause my second car hasn't had issues, it doesn't mean they are not out there in great numbers. Same with the ignition switches. Some people died, most did not. Is it an issue? Yes. Do all cars have a bad switch? Probably not. Just like the convertibles.

You're running , so keep running! You're irrelevant because you cry about GM quality but you're driving GM products! I guess you don't have common sense! You're still running from my question! So go be the scary cat that you are! You want to piggy off of others comments looking more like a troll! You go over to a different forum because obviously you can't handle truth from ppl on this forum! All you do is complain!

Don't tell others where to go! You're a nobody to ppl that you don't know on here! So act like it! You run nothing but your mouth But not to me ! So nobody's going anywhere! Since you have a problem 2ith GM products, why don't you leave!

Oh , nice! But you're not being realistic by saying all of the cars probably don't have the ignition switch or convertible issues! We all know that you can never generalize something! When you know it's not facts!

Your point is what? Either they all have to be bad or all good? There is no inbetween? Check out the vert forum if you do not believe there are problems. Seen it, done it, been there. I also have an 06 Caravan and 08 Toyota with an airbag recall. Does that mean they are all bad also? Neither had an issue but I went in and got the recall performed. Now my 12 Camaro has a recall. Are they all bad? Probably not. The inherent issue is GM knew it was a problem, same with the verts. They did nothing on the ignition issue and it got buried and people died. Same with Toyota and the acceleration issue. No maker is perfect. They need to be proactive with these type of issue not reactive.
