Went by the dealership today, none of the Camaros he had, had them...
they had 2 transformer SS RS cars, one 2LT RS Transformer car, 3 SS RS Camaros and one LS Camaro.

I picked up my new camaro two weeks ago.. After i got it home i noticed the small square GM badges located on the lower front fenders were not there... Did they forget to put them on or r they not anymore...? two of my buddies also have camaros and there's have them.. Curious...

The "Chicklets" were discontinued a while ago, try the search funtion and I'm sure you can find the thread on it, happened about the time of the bankrupcy and restructuring.

I would say they either forgot or it fell off.
For those reading the thread after this and taking possession of your car. Don’t get so excited that you sign the papers and jump in it and drive off (I know it’s hard to do). You should inspect your car closely for little defects before you leave. Many years ago I worked for a Ford dealership prepping cars for the lot. You would not believe how many cars come from the factory with flaws that have to be corrected before sale!

It was many months after the restructuring. The chicklets came off circa the time the reverse sensors were put on... I want to say beginning to mid august, or roughly the 45-50 thousandth vin number mark... My car has them still, vin 42133

Yea, they were removed in September around the same time the new backup sensors were introduced.

LOL speaking of that, I remember back when Ford had the Granada, and Mercury had the Monarch.. I was looking on the Ford lot and came across one that was supposed to be a Granada, but had the entire front clip from a Monarch.. emblem and all.. but the rest of the car was all Granada.....And this was a brand new car!

PS QC is alot better today that many years ago... I have bought several GM cars in the last few years and none had anything missing or loose when i picked them up...

My car "born on date" is 9/11, VIN 456XX. It has the chicklets but not the backup sensors. Another guy on this site has the same born on date, a lower VIN and does have BU sensors.
