There are a group of us leaving SW Chicago area on Thursday morning and going to meet the Cincinnati group, and then to Knoxville. You're more than welcome to join us but you'd probably have to spend Wed. night around SW Chicago.

Miketebo is coming from SD, going thru Council Bluffs down to KC, Mo. That would be back-tracking for you.

Maybe you can wait till it gets closer and see if anyone else from Ia. or Mn. is coming down.

You could join up with the Chicago gang at Indy.

In my group we are stopping together but for a vast majority of the trip there will only be about 15 or so of us. This way we get a good time to stretch our legs a bit. With a larger group though, such as when JR gets closer to GA, they may be splitting up a bit I'd imagine

In our group I think our planned stops are close enough that it wont be an issue. I asked that everyone be fueled up when we meet in cinci. (there is plenty of gas close to the meet point) then we can head to Knoxville and make astop half way to stretch, use the RR and get gas.

Once we get to Knoxville, everyone can fill up that night and be ready with a full tank in the morning. For the Chattanooga group, hopefully them come mostly full, we will probably need to make one stop in between Chattanooga and ATL.

Once at Summit, we will break for an hour, get gas and lunch. We should have no problems making it from Summit to Valdosta on one tank.

I really dont see it being an issue. If we stop...get gas. If you are on 3/4 tank... fill up!

If some one absolutly has to break off... I guess so be it but I'd like to try to stay together. I will be looking at places along the way for gas stops. Exits that offer a lot of variety. The group is only really lagre south of Summit but like I said, thats a one tank trip.

OK, So "EVERYONE", You must fill up at BP AM/PM gas stations ONLY. This is mandatory, and they have to be BP gas stations in ATLANTA... If you do not I will not be able to buy a supercharger because I won't be making money and therefore I will not like you.

I love BP, use it all the time if possible. I actually just picked out fuel stops and multiple stations including PB, Shell, Sunoco and Marathon were am must... that way it should please everyone.

I am not thinking fuel stops are going to be an issue at all. As I review the route, its broken up and there is plenty of time to fill the car's tank and empty the people's!

Google maps puts your route going 21 to birmingham, then atlanta to I75. If you want to join our mother of all caravans, be at the summit racing south of atlanta at 11:00 am on Friday. it is sure to be a good ride!

Memphis to ATL is about 6.5 hours. Doable if you get on the road early. You could also try to hook up with the group staying over in Birmingham (tbarber87's group)

If you decide to catch up in ATL with us or with tbarber's group, please PM me so I can add you to the list!

We are getting on the road at 6am from Knoxville. Plan to arrive by 3pm in Valdosta.
