lambo doors for my camaro

they have not been installed yet..their schedule is full I am getting them installed next week I will post my pics when I get them installed.
I was hesitant about getting lambo doors on my charger but I did my research and found that if I got the lambo doors installed by Vertical Doors, Inc. they would give me lifetime warranty on everything hinge, shocks and installation cant go wrong with that. I love my charger and I know I will love my Camaro evern more!!!!

Go for it, I think it looks awesome. I'm interested to find out if they do the window indexing, because you have to pull the door out a few inches horizontally to open and close, right? That would be really nice if they still indexed properly and everything. Pics when you're done!

Hey OP. I had VDI's kit on my Charger too. I still have them on my Magnum. I love them on my maggie but I wasnt to happy with them on my Charger. I wont be putting them on my Camaro. But they make a great product. The are very sturdy and have worked for me through 2 winters.

I hope you like them on the Camaro ....I wanna see picts when they are done.

P.S. Dont listen to the "Nay sayer". Its your car. Do what makes you happy.

i've got nothing against putting them on the camaro, may very well do it myself if i happen to get one in a few years.

it's DeLorean doors that i'd have to laugh at if i saw.

that's the first thing I checked, since VDI does not cut the factory wires everything works just like factory including the power windows.

The windows should index properly. They are controlled electronically, mostly likely by a switch in the door. The door has to go out about a foot, foot and a half, at the back of the door, before it can be raised so that switch should get activated. Mostly likely no issues with indexing.

One more thing these are NOT LAMBO DOOR!! The are VERTICAL Doors. There is a huge difference.
Lambo door belong on Lambos. Verts can go on anything. JMO

It's your car...do whatever makes you happy. There are no rules as to what you can and can't do...just as long as you aren't endangering yourself or others on the road around you.
