24. Moved out from my parents place when I was 17. Been working since I was like 12 haha... Worked my ass off in college, and now my career. This is the 2nd new vehicle I've owned. House in next.

I can't even imagine what you 16 -18 year olds are paying for insurance on SS's... I have a (surprisingly) perfectly clean driving record and I still get raped.

ok look im tired of some of you older people coming on here and saying everybody that has a camaro under 20 is a spoiled brat. yes the starter of this thread got mommy and daddy to buy the camaros (even though they didn't ask for them) but that don't mean the rest of us are. Unlike you people who where probably like most of my friends now (I'm 18) every pay check they get they find something pointless to spend their money on just because they have some, or they are riding around joyriding all over the place not taking in mind how much GAS cost these days, or they out partying, smoking, drinking or whatever! BUT some of us actually know how to save money and not spend it everytime we get our hands on it! Me personally i never like to not have money even though i already have enough money to go buy a new exhaust system, new halos, or whatever else i may want i know that i am moving to Houston soon so that money will be saved up! Not every one is a brat, most..but not ALL

My insurance just went up to $367.27 per month. I'm 18 by the way.

Almost forgot, they also charged an extra $2 as a "Service Charge"....

I can barely afford anything else....Oh well, it's totally worth it.

Had first Camaro at 16, LS1 camaro at 19. Currently away from the big V8s in a luxury car, but debating going back!

I have to say I dont love the new look of the Camaro, but in person the exterior is way better looking than in pictures.

Just as a small addition to this thread, it's interesting how all the younger people are displaying mature, kind and open minded traits while a couple of the older people here are displaying what I could consider to be immaturity, closed-mindedness and anger. I wonder who wins in the end, the so-called "spoiled" kids with a level head or the people who sit and bitch at the spoiled kids because they had to walk a mile to and from school, up hill both ways.

Buying a Camaro after the death of a parent is a pretty irresponsible thing to do... Unless you don't plan on living very long yourself. Who needs to save for college, a house, or any other grown up things, nah go for a car!!

what an interesting thread...lol... im 26 and i had to bust my butt to save up the 5k down payment (3 mos). hey, if some of these kids got a camaro cuz of their parents, kool, i'd prob have done the same (ok maybe not the SS) lol but hey, to those of us working hard, the drive home every day is that much sweeter. my advice to the kids that got it handed, work hard and enjoy the fruit of ur own labor, trust me it feels like more of an accomplishment...
