Becky, I called my dealer and asked him to adjust my order. However, he told me that switching to the short throw shifter would delay my order? I'm confused as to how it would be delayed now that the shifter is off constraint. Any info on this?

They could be misinformed, or don't know how to change it. Your order hasn't gone anywhere, so they simply go into the system, make the change, and TaDa - all done. Really no reason not to change it at this point. If the shifter went on constraint, and they wanted to place your order, they could simply remove it before submitting the order to GM. I'd push the dealer a little on this one....no reason not to change it.

That refers to a 2000 status. They were orders I placed against my allocation. Hope that helps, but if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
