So run at the back, enjoy the curves and don't hammer it on the straights.

Haha in my mind I will break it in properly. But just like any other car I bought I usually only get couple hundred miles on them before I'm going balls to walls. I have never had any problems either, so why stop now.

You mean it will be back from New Era Performance by then?
You know if you show up with that I'm going into debt?
I took mine on the track at 180 miles. Just stayed in the back and didn't go over 80 (well, 89.9) and under 4000 rpm (well, 4999)

Haha. Yeah I will be waiting for winter to do any mods other than a CAI, which I may already have lol. I def want to make the cruise out there. I'm very excited to get this car. It was me working with about 8 dealers trying to get a allocation and for awhile I gave up and almost bought a Z06.

There are more than a few schools of thought on proper break-in.

June 3rd does work for me - but would really rather get it in this weekend if the weather comes around. My local forecast dropped from 90% to 70% precip and rain from .5" to .25" - so it is rolling back a little. Tomorrow morning will be our indicator - hoping this trend continues.

I'm with this group all the way. Ring seal is critical - and you need load for that.

Yes, I'd like to get it done myself, but the main issue is with the go karts. I'm not sure they'll open for us in the rain and he'll only open for us anyway if we can guarantee at least 10 people forking out $20 apiece. Like I say, the track will be open regardless, just depends who wants to show up. I think if the Saturday forecast at tomorrow morning is worse than 60 deg and 20% it's best to reschedule.

Been lookin' forward to the track on the 13th, but since the forecast showed up on the 10-day showing rain, been kinda bummed about it. Was holding out hope that their 10-day was a wild guess, but it's not lookin' good. =( I'm good for the 3rd if this thing gets rescheduled.

Not sure if the wife can go with her car that day.(tbd)

I pulled my car out of the garage yesterday so clean and shiny to go take a quick hot lap around town and the pollen static cling to the car coating it yellowish green. Grrrr.
