It is a public event, the group putting it together must carry a insurance writer for liablity. Most if not all events ban firearms for this reason, I would not worry, there will be plenty of law enforcement there to protect everyones rights

Bodih - cannot wait to see your car - that is absolutely GORGEOUS!

I went to the Oro Valley car show last year - it's really nice and tons of cars. Even if you don't enter - is fun to check out the cool rides.

Thanks to all of you. I'll be at the show tomorrow. I went to one there last year, but it rained like hell. No time to enter, but I'll stop through and look you guys up. Drove it to work today. I can honestly say I don't mind rush hour anymore, even with a stick! I love listening to the exhaust bubble as I let off the gas in a low gear.

Prodigy: Try Johnny Mac's on S. Dodge, near Alvernon and Ajo. They are open on Saturdays. They are a full on, body/auto repair shop with a spray booth. Just got my car back on Tuesday following an incident with a client's goat. Regardless, Gene and the guys should be able to help you out and be fairly reasonable about it. Worth a try!

Since I am getting ready to move down there and I am wanting to get some work done on my car, I was wondering how bad the emissions tests are down there? I saw online that there is an emission test requirement in Tucson and Phoenix so I just want to see what is up with it. Thanks for the help!!!

No emissions until your car is 5 years old. Maybe 3 but I think its 5. Then when you do have to do emissions they hook up to your computer and make sure you don't have any codes , pressure test your gas cap and that's it.
