Last time I was on that track I was 17 and driving the high school's '70 'Cuda. They were very strict when it came to the school cars, but that was a day or two ago. I'm still having a hard time remembering how to get there but I used to be there all the time. I guess I'm still trying to block that area from my memory. lol

This is an NHRA track, so if drag racing, I doubt you can wear shorts, tennis shoes should be fine. I always bring a long sleeve t-shirt too as some tracks require them, though I think that is more of a road course thing. Helmets they will check if you are drag racing for SA ratings.

Hope "only" 87 as the almanac says but doubt it.Bring canopies and water. Two days of 95 on the asphalt at Camaro fest and no shade was exhausting!

I just hope the dairy farm isn't still there. Heat + asphalt + methane = a bad time. lol

In THE 80'S I lived in Ontario across the street from all the cattle ranches. Boy fun in the summer and the winter!

When my wife and I were looking at buying our house, there was a development that was building right next to a dairy farm. We were looking in August......eek gads that was bad. The builder was selling the houses telling people that the dairy farm was sold and would be developed as houses. The dairy farm is still there, and people are still buying in that area.

When I did midnight mayhem 2 weeks ago in Vegas you only had to wear a helmet if you were running in the 13's or lower, people were wearing shorts also.....I think the Vegas track is a NHRA track?
