I like both... They're two different cars. The Shelby does come off as 50% more badass though lol I am really interested in how Chevrolet responds to this beast. The shelby just LOOKS fast while parked

100 hp difference at the rear wheels? Face it, that's huge.

The GT500 will do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 11.6 seconds. That is enough to whip the Corvette Grandsport and Z06 and is only a tenth off from the ZR1. Chevy will never let the Camaro outrun the Corvette.........hate to say it but it's true. Ford has crossed over in to a territory that the Camaro just cannot go into

I just simply don't get how you can compare a '12 ZL1 vs a '13 GT500. That video states its a '13 ZL1 when it's not.
They should also display prices for both since they are comparing HP #. Which is the overall better buy, which one makes sense. |

Kudo's for the Shelby Company for creating a nice ride. Maybe those guys should compare the Shelby to the Hennessey HPE650 which laid down 612hp to the wheels. After all, if an after production company built it (GT500), then it should be compared to an after production Company that does the same thing.

Shelby cobras come off the ford assembly line. They don't come out of Shelby of Los Vegas. Those cars have up to 750-1100hp... You don't wanna see those race a Hennessy 750...
Henessey has gt500 kits as well as zl1 (soon) and ss kits

Had a great conversation w/ the owner of this car at Cars n Coffee on Saturday... Dude has quite a stable of high end cars... This color combo is my favorite. Interior is a little Blah... funny that that's what most Stang folks have a problem w/ the Camaro
Also, a buddy who parked with our Camaro crew had this 2008 GT500 with the 2013 blower on it... pretty cool |

That is crazy fast for a $60K+ factory production car. I have full respect for the '13 GT500 now.

I'm pretty sure that was just the $54,200 base model.
