Yeah, sorry that happened InFiD3ViL. I would go nuts if my car wasn't in the garage for a night let alone two weeks. I'll have to do this next year too possibly because I have a small dent in the front fascia and I can't install my ACS splitter that's just sitting in my garage . I'll try and talk them into letting me bring the fascia in. Unfortunately, with the rear quarter panel, you really don't have that option. I know you'll miss her but as long as she comes out looking great, that's all that matters. Good luck on the body work and here's to your Camaro Gen5 coming out like new.

Parked it and covered it for the next few weeks as landscaping gets done. The waiting IS the hardest part.

I did last year when my old converter took a dump and wiped out everything in the front of my tranny!!! She was in the shop for 2.5 weeks because it happened right in the middle of Covid and they had to wait 2 weeks for the parts to come from GM. Yea I went NUTS!!! But thank God there are plenty of videos to keep you entertained.. lol. Hang in there brother, it'll be alright!!
Thanks guys! That makes me feel a little bit better. My gf was making fun of me last night because I am off the next 3 days from work. I told her when it hit me that my car wasn't outside, my stomach dropped - you know that sick nervous feeling when something terrible or stressful happens lol.

She said 'Maybe I should leave for 2 weeks and see if you feel the same'.

She will never understand the struggle

Could be worse and be without it for 6 months of the year like us guys further north. I'd take 2 weeks anyday!

Figured I would just drop this one here, you may find yourself in similar situation as you do things to your Camaro today.

this comes from a discussion I was in regarding a fresh 6 liter LS build going in a truck. It’s got a real interesting fabbed intake manifold on it. Someone asked about the hood closing.

the guy that built the engine said, “ That sounds like a body shop guy problem, not an engine guy problem!”

Yeah, you're right. I don't know how you guys do it. I would go crazy.
I know it will go quick. Besides, it will come back looking better than it has in a long time.

Car is a Tim King's shop getting a Stage 4 Max Effort 6L90 rebuild and retune.

TC Solenoid took a shit and locked the TC. 1 WOT downshift later and no more 4th, 5th and 6th gears.
