Yeah I was just thinking the same thing.

I am planning to go out to SMS Speedway for the "Driver's Club" aka Cars and Coffee from 10am to 2pm if anyone wants to join me. Me and my car have been snowed in for too long!!!!!

We did meet and in fact, I was shot gun for a spin on the track a few weeks back. Thanks I had a blast someday when my camaro grows up ill be brave enough for a spin on the track ha ha

Vincent, I'd really like to see your car too. It's nice to see you've done so much to it. But if not tomorrow then soon. Once the weather straightens up I should be able to make more events.

Oh nooo! Ivan'a legend lives on, hehehe. No worries, if you can make it cool, but there's no pressure to put your car on the track. You could just come, hang out, get some ridealongs for $5. Only do what you feel comfortable with. For me this is the safest environment I feel comfortable with to really enjoy and feel close to the limits of the car. It's fun driving on the streets, but it's much nicer being in a controlled environment where you can work on your own skills without worrying about traffic or tickets!

Besides, had it not been for that, my Camaro would be much plainer! And I also learned alot about turn entrance and the dynamics of having a rider in your car verses not. There are a heck of a lot of things that go into really pushing a car on the track.

All those little things add up and I'm thankful (embarrassed at the time) that I had the chance to learn the way I did.

I'd have hated to do something like that out in town.

Not that anybody drives like that on public roads of course......
