I installed the Edelrock X-pipe which removed the resonators. My car is quieter than "BLUDIMN." The Edelbrock X-pipe takes up some room underneath. I now need a muffler delete. My 98 Z28 ran straight pipes with cats. Cats were good enough. The 85 Z28 that I gave my nephew had "gutted" cats and passed emissions on 91 octane in Phoenix, AZ but I ran 3/4 tank of 91 premium and 1/4 100 octane.

P.S. who can do a muffler delete on "ESS"

Hmm, could be a thought to do...and in the mean-time order my CAI...

I was just researching, but couldn't find a definite answer about the Magnaflow Tru-X vs. Magnaflow Resonated X. Seems the L99 stock resonator is a big anchor...but with the muffler delete, would it be recommended to put the X in with resonators because of the AFM sound?? I was just thinking from what I read, to just use the True-X (while cheaper, too) and remove stock resonator block and mufflers...
