Started it for the first time since December. It's been a long time since I've stored a car - saved $130 a month in insurance by doing so.

Vinyl Stripes

Bought a Steamer off of Amazon and removed all of the Vinyl stripes off of the hood, trunk and rear spoiler. They actually came off without any issues and no ghost stripes! Yay!

The only changes I made to it was to add the rear spoiler, Cragar SS rims, B&M shifter, Pioneer stereo and an alarm which I still laugh at today as it was activated by a key switch that was installed just below the driver's side front fender emblem. I guess we thought that was cool back then lol.
All right ... I understand ;-)
I didn't expect it to be such a time.

That's too funny! I guess a very common list of upgrades, did yours come with the spoiler?

No way. The Camaro came to me like a classic Type LT.
So without a spoiler.

But I have to say that getting those wheels here and other things wasn't easy at all.
Now I sit down on the internet and everything is okay. But I didn't have such options then. Everything was arranged through acquaintances of acquaintances, but it also worked.

Put the flat stoppers away and took a ride ride with the top down for the first time this year. I drove a few times in the dry weather this winter because I switched to all-weather tires last year. Did a lot of interior work in the garage this winter and dressed the POWERFUL V6 ENGINE. Gonna get a lot of rain that will wash the salt off the roads this weekend(of course) and probably have her on the road now until late fall.

Awesome!! Was a thrill to get her out, wasn't it?? Just think, more days are coming for "top down rides"!!!

I have to do the same as well. I’ll shoot my shot looking for a used set and clean them up hopefully.

I had to take a ride to Connecticut to check out a job for work. Since its going to be around 60* today, I took the Camaro out finally. Beautiful ride there and back. Made it from CT to my office in New Hyde Park in 30 mins. Love this thing

I charged the battery and took her out for an hour or so.

Some time between December and today my car joined Al Quaida

The DIC display is in Arabic :(

The radio doesn't show the temp or station # and when I hit the configure button the menu screen was blank.

I may have to enroll my car in an English as a second language class

2 weeks ago I was shoveling snow after a storm. Friday, it was 72* and bright sunshine! I finally got a chance to do a solid clean up on the old girl. Foam canon and a thorough hand wash and a coat of wax, interior detail and even got under the hood. I even had a little time to go for a ride after. Thank God spring is finally showing up!.
