Maybe. It was listed as GM Remarketing and had just under 5k miles on it when posted for auction by GlobalAutoUsa.com in Jan 2013.

There were also CTF ZL1's built this year as test models. Some of them will be re-sold to dealers and had different VINS then a production 2012 ZL1. The CTF VINS started with C9799XXX. ZL1 registry has just received the correct counts for the 2012 CTF ZL1's. The breakdown of these rare cars is: 8 ZL1's were strictly marketing cars 45 ZL1's were assigned as actual CTF test fleet Total number of the C9799XXX vin built for 2012 model year: 69 These preproduction ZL1's are very rare and will be collectors in the coming years. Our take here at the *********** is, if you find one buy it! |

Last week I bought 2G1FL3DP0E9800572 "new" 2014 Convertible, was used or at least held for, the New York Auto Show and probably other auto shows. Hopefully I will get some more info on that. It was built 9-7-13 and has an in service date but sold as new.

Went to a dealership Nov of 2012 to simply get a brochure on the highly talked about zl1. unfortunately they were all out of brochures but were unloading the real thing off the trailer. Took Big Bertha home instead of pictures of her. Ha ha . she's been much fun and gets driven every chance I get. We Autocross at goodguys and Sturgis camaro rally yearly. She just went through an extreme makeover JDP motorsports style. She now dances with Michelin pilot super sport's and has 734rwhp and 707 ft lbs of rwt to help her move that big Ass around. The Detroit speed suspension helps keep her hugging them corners . Big Bertha is fast on the dance floor and breaking hearts all over. Ha ha victory red 2013 zl1 vin 2g1fz1ep9d9801008
