Weight loss and rotating mass are KEY.

Old rule of thumb: every 10 hp is worth a 0.1, every 100 lb drop is worth a 0.1. So when you are done with bolt ons and have no more HP to add, weight loss is the next big key. Also, 1 lb. rotating mass is worth between 4 and 10 lbs stationary weight.

Exactly. this guy knos his stuff haha i recently heard every .1 in gear reduction equals roughly .1 in the 1/4 as well. Such as goin from 3.27 to 3.73 equals roughly .3-.4 in the quarter. You kno if this is an accurate one to?

I know he is running stock 3.27 gears and the stock open diff. Not positive but I believe he runs a stock converter also. Definitely stock gears and diff.
