OK, dilema time. After looking at the schedule for C5Fest, for the umpteenth time, trying to do the drag racing is going to take a huge amount of time. Of all who are going, who is drag racing and who is just going to hang out and just enjoy the event?

I'm just there to enjoy the gathering and see all the cars. If I had wanted to drag, I'd have bought a 1SS coupe (like yours)...

Was wondering the same thing....not racing but hoping there's enough cool cars, people and vendors to occupy our time. Definitely hoping to get some mod ideas too! :-)

You're going to see some crazy Camaros at the Fest. The sky is the limit and a few of those guys go above and beyond that... Have fun!

Ok, I have decided not to race. Going to go up and just have a good time hanging with good friends and good cars. Maybe snag a few signatures from the visiting Chevy dignitaries.

Well a little update...

I haven't gotten my exhaust work done yet :( Mainly I have been fighting that illness and nasty chest congestion that spreading around my Squad.

But, I ordered the CAI from Jannetty, but at the time of the order, they didn't have stock in yet...then a really cool thing happened...they called me and told me that the camaro5 discount didnt combine with the shipping discount and they corrected it...we then talked about a performance package they had, but my dealer said if I do the tune with the included tuner and tune provided, it will void my warranty...plus the headers will throw O2 sensor warnings...SMDH to chance it....

So I ordered a Dynomax Ultra Flo X , instead of the Magnaflow Resonated X pipe...as many said they cannot tell if it actually is an X...only magnaflowplus.com says its an X inside and all others say its straight...but it seems my order didn't give me the right shipping so I have to wait for it longer than I wanted...I don't know of anyone who is using this x pipe, but after it all comes in and I schedule a time to get the work done, I will take pics and vids of the install/sound...

Another thing, is I forgot...the D-M 50 Picnic is this saturday...they are even having a car show...I should have got us all together (everyone with base access...) to all park together and enjoy all the free festivities if you weren't going up to Phx.
