I hope this is true I've almost bit the bullet multiple times to buy the metra cause this thing was taking so long, but hopefully i can finally start building my system now.

I am at the CES show as we speak, and my contact at Scosche told me that the kits should have started shipping today.

I also got to see the kit, and it is WAY better than the Metra kit as it does not have any external boxes to get in the way of the install like the Metra kit does. Everything is integrated into the touch screen panel and requires no eternal box unless you want to interface the OnStar system, ,and then the box needed is about 2/3 smaller than the Metra kit. It also has a space to put the wires needed to connect to the aftermarket unit to give you extra room behind the unit to make it easier to install.

The chime and turn signal audio signal are built into the faceplate of the kit. It will also program the door lock, lighting and the other options that are built into the factory radio.

Can't wait to get mine so I can finally install my new multimedia navigation unit.
