I'd rather have an intake that pulls air from the front of the car than the wheel well. What are you lookin at with an Injen?...maybe 10 hp? For $270?. Id rather save my money.

.....and isnt there the issue/concern of water ingestion because of its placement?

However, the numbers ive seen for the injen are better than others. But, will more than likely go with VR unless i dont like what i see in the numbers for the VR, and can be sure that water wont be a prob with injen, then injen it will be.

called them today, they couldnt tell me if you can use nitrous with this intake or not but they did say it was going to be done in the next few days......i asked about price and they said the 350 range

Figured it was worth a shot. You have to remember that this system was not purposely designed for use with nitrous and none of the test cars are running nitrous either. Not saying it couldn't be done, just that it isn't the configuration they are aiming for. You should call some of the other CAI manufacturers and see what kind of response you get. My guess is that it will be similar.
