I was thinking of playing the speed challenge by ear. I'd like to see a more detailed schedule of the speed challenge for both Saturday & Sunday. If we finish early Sat, perhaps those interested could head to the event (if is over at 6 PM). If there are interesting events on Sunday, I might also go. Details on the speed challenge I've found so far: http://ecta-lsr.net/?page_id=27 http://ecta-lsr.net/?page_id=678 http://ecta-lsr.net/?page_id=30 Last edited by heinzd01; 03-12-2012 at 10:32 AM. |

I know opinions are like SSholes, but I'd like to here some anyways! I'm debating on some suspension mods (sways/traling arms/tie rods/bushings/etc). Probably not gonna be able to swing all of them this spring. What order of importance would you place these in? And I have some questions like... do I need rear tie rods now? do I need all the bushings? etc?
End goals (for now)... 1) reduce wheel hop 2) improve overall driving experience |

For us posers, it doesnt really matter what order you do them in. It really depends what you REALLY want. I did everything in pieces, one at a time.
If you want the most apparent mod, do the sway bars. It really tightens up the car. So do the bushings. If you're on a budget just do the inserts. I am totally happy with them. As far as trailing arms and toe bars... I have had them since the car was new. They were actually my first mod. I guess they reduce wheel hop... My car never does it. so ![]() If it were my money... and we know its not... I would do: 1. sways and end links 2. bushings (full or inserts) 3. trailing arms 4. toe bars My next thing is engine mounts but I wont buy Pfadt so I am waiting on BMR... ![]() |

I agree with J's list - except I don't have sways - yet
![]() The inserts made a noticeable difference in both handling and takeoff. The trailing arms & toe rods made takeoffs even better. I recommend the Pedders Street I so you get the front inserts too - they help with steering response especially when braking.
