The $600 MSRP discount will essentially eliminate the $600 MSRP charge for this option. Only those 2012 Camaro ZL1’s produced with RPO: B92 will receive the discount.
Ok, am I the only one confused about this! How does not charging the customers how ordered the B92 hood alleviate the constraint on the standard hood insert? wouldn't you upgrade the people that didn't order the B92 to keep things moving and not charge them? I'm so lost on this!

Carbon Fiber is a bitch to paint. It means a much higher level and cost of finishing. The Boss 302s hoods come in both Fibreglass for painting, and Carbon Fibre. We were told not to expect show quality finishes if painting the CF hood. I figured GM had run into the same issue, although with a much smaller surface it should be easy to address.

BIG QUESTION... WHY WOULD YOU PAINT CARBON FIBER? IT LOOKS SO GOOD IT DOESNT NEED TO BE HIDDEN UNDER PAINT! lol

Interesting. Dealers don't make as much as I thought at MSRP.
Unless there are additional factory incentives, MSRP is pretty reasonable all things considered...
