Just leave it alone. There are literally tens of thousands of Camaro TB's that are snugged up, just like from the factory. If it makes you sleep better at night, then by all means do it.

Reading threw the replies about 60' times and 1/4 mile times I am new to 5th gens. but have been racing all my life , I can tell you the hesitation from a stock TB is horrible and will defiantly hurt your 60' times which in turn results in a slower 1/4 mile time I was going to do headers next but the hesitation has moved the PTB up to next on the list to me if you are going to do any kind of racing or cutting up this is a must. To floor a car and feel it nose dive then take off is horrible. Just my 2 cents which most have already said just some weren't real sure about drag racing improvements.

Now a disclaimer I am not saying it will knock .5 sec. off your 1/4mile times but I would say you expect a tenth or so.
