I hope it's that big a hit, I really do. Both for GM and me personally since then it will definetly be around when I have the money to buy one. I would hate for it to have the same fate as the GTO. *Knock on wood*

That Camaro is definitely a V6 that Dale Jr. drifted at the beginning of the video. It has the distinct V6 sound as it goes by the camera in BOTH directions. I can hardly wait for the V8 models to arrive @ a dealership close by, even though I still wish GM didn't choose the silly protruding dash for the main gauge panel. I really like the rest of the car. I also like the Dodge Challenger but the SRT8's fuel economy is abysmal and I refuse to pay a stupid gas guzzler tax when they could have designed an equally powerful engine combo that would have avoided that. Kudos to Chevrolet, which most of us already know has produced a 505 HP N/A pushrod engine that will return 26+ MPG on the highway. The V6 buyers will be fortunate as well since they have more horsepower than most V8s on the road and will likely outrun any unmodified, N/A V6 sold.

Oops, there were 3 passes, not 2 and if I may correct my earlier statement, the drifting Camaro at the beginning is in fact the V8 model. The shots directly before and after the drift were the V6 model. Also, thank you very kindly Meghan Reeder for the video.

Documentary on General Motors as it struggles to reubuild its financial status Is on CNBC at 7 out here in the west. Maybe we may get some small blurbs about the Camaro. Just thought I would throw it out there if your interested!

If that's the interview with Wagner, I saw that too.

Based on what I see coming from 'The General', re; Camaro, Volt, Cadillac, as well as the Cuze, and possible Orlando, I think 'The General' will be in "good health".

I have to agree, once the next wave of new GM cars come out and put the old ones into retirement the healing will begin. It has already begun, but it will be in full swing by then.
