if a Malibu, then it would have to be either a coupe/hatch, or a sedan/hatch...

If you want a full size Chevy sedan with a 6.2L V8, get the SS. It even comes in RWD and you can now get it with a manual. Its as close as you're going to get to the Impala SS for the foreseeable future.

It may be buried somewhere in this thread, (I check in from time to time but do not follow and it is huge) but is the Hummer coming back? My brother-in-law has one & was showing me pics of the smaller Hummer 'refresh' that he said GM is bringing back? True or is he full of it?

I believe GMC is considering building a Hummer type vehicle as an upscale competitor to the wrangler. Nothing solid on that yet but I believe GM has admitted to considering it.

I drove an H2 5 hours through a blizzard in upstate NY a few years back and it was an absolute beast. I would without hesitation buy an updated Hummer.
