OH HELL NO!!!! I certainly would be having an in depth heart to heart with that clown!!! I always said things in my life you do NOT touch, or mess with, my wife, my kids, my home AND my car!! Not cool...

Yeah so I worked hard at the company im with ( 12 years now ) and im the youngest in my position in company history. Im gonna try be as mature and civil as possible. I feel its the best approach. His response to the conversation will determine if that changes. Some people werent raised or taught the things I was so im hoping he is responsive, apologizes and we have no more issues. Dash cam is back in the car tho. I took it out when I had the windshield tinted but its back now. If I catch him again and its on camera, ill have no issue letting him go.

ItZ fEr ThE gRaM bOoMeR....I can hear it now..Social Media is the absolute worst..had issues in the military with people "posting" and it was dealt with quickly and quite publicly to make an example. Hopefully you wont have to do that with this kid and he realizes IRL is a make or break you kind of thing.

So. The convo went pretty ok. He seemed more embarrassed than anything. I explained that the photos he posted were not in violation of the NDA since they were my car and not our clients intellectual property. I did explain that it was inappropriate to touch and LAY on my car. I didn't even mention him claiming the car was his. He wants to flex someone else's car, whatever. He then came to me an hour ago and quit saying he didn't like that people were "snooping" on him and felt "violated". I said "all good buddy, best of luck in your future endeavors."

^^ this...we ALL do some dumb shit when were young (and sometimes old) hopefully he learns a lesson and takes this to heart..Well done with handling the situation!

Yes, true, but I can think of a couple of specific times when I did an idiot thing and an older, wiser adult pulled me to the front of the bus rather abruptly to teach me a lesson. It worked.

These type of weirdos worry me. He could have admitted he was wrong and moved on but no, he played the snowflake card and said his feelings were hurt. I'd keep my guard up if I were you. You probably know that already but it's worth reminding.

Sad but true. I had to let a guy go a few years ago. He was the classic loner, pissed-off at everything kind of guy. I kept a loaded P80 in my drawer until I left that place 2 years later.
