"Mr. Tint" is only 5 minutes from my house. I'm taking next week off, so if you let me know when you are there, I might stop bye.

UPDATE - I sent Keith an email seeing if he would come to Jamestown 3/28 to install the clear bra for various owners.

UPDATE2 - I talked with Keith. He seems more than happy to come to our 3/28 get together and give us information and pricing but would NOT likely do much installation on 3/28. He prefers to do installs in a clean, temperature/humidity controlled environment. Also, he can only do about two cars a day. He did mention he would give us a discount if a number of people were interested in doing this around the same time. (I'm interested)

Should we invite Keith 3/28 to get the details?
Sure, I have been thinking about it.

He's been doing tinting for 26 years.

He said he has been doing 3M clear bra installations for about 4 years as well. He has not done a 2010 Camaro yet, so he said he'd get the price for the "Camaro Kit" of the 3M material and he'll call me with a price tomorrow. I'll let you know what he says.
Thanks for the info!

I am considering dropping my Camaro. I have no idea what it takes other than I need to get some parts and have someone install them. Advice is welcome! Would my dealer do it?
Have you thought about an air ride suspension?

Costs money for the parts, service to install and alignment.

Less clearance when going through those dips into parking lots & driveways or driving onto service ramps.

Possible lost warranty if any problems arise related to the lowering.

Just a little FYI, the 3M clear bra adds more texture to the vehicle, more of an orange peel look to the paint than the Xpel that LadyInBlue & my Camaro has on it. Keith did our car as his first, and has done many more, giving him experience putting the kit on. It was a challenge when he did ours cause he wasnt 100% sure what he was getting into but I'm sure by now he has it down completely. I'd highly recommend him & Xpel rather than the 3M kit.

I think I'll be going to Scott in Marion. Scott's overhead must be lower in Marion than Mr. Tint's Columbus. Also, I work in Marion and it's more convenient to go to the place in Marion.
That makes since. I looked at "Mr. Tint" years ago, but I decided to go with another company.

With air suspension, you can change the ride height with a click of a button. Low when you are at a show and high for every day driving.

This car has an air suspension:

Dash ABL

I ordered GM LEDs and Digi-Key light tubes to try the dash ABL mod with jrhaus76 on 3/28. Using these parts appears to be the best method as the blue color is identical to the doors though it requires more dash/part modification.

It appears the Digi-Key light tubes may not be available much longer according to this thread. I believe only one light tube is required for the dash. If you think you will want to do this mod using these light tubes, you might want to buy one ASAP. As of 3/16/10 1:42pm there were 89 showing available.

Got mine and awaiting 3 GM lamps in-bound to drive the lighting on the tubes. Will be doing the HomeLink mod, maybe this weekend. I have a whole semester of college work to get done on my masters before the first week of April. The camaro always wins...

Sooooo I didn't know the auto show tomorrow started at 12:00...would've liked to leave earlier than that...

I might end up going to the Dayton Auto Show on the 25th instead. Regal will be there too.

Did you ask Keith about any discount for us Camaro5 members. He mentioned we might be able to get a discount but didn't tell me how much discount.
