lol, copycat! I got both too Both are full DCC now and the N scale has signals controlled by DCC too, kinda wanted to tie all the switches into it and change the signals out to some multi-head signals so it could give all the signal aspects depending on the way the switches are set (diverging signals etc).

I only have my N scale up and most locomotives are DCC. I use the Zephyr system from digitrax with an add on controller. I'm in the middle of a scenary build using the Grand Central Staton as the focal point in the town. It's a lot of work, and since I've had my Camaro I have not done much with it.

I rarely even touch mine anymore.... building it was most of the fun . I built everything myself from the tables to the trees. I forget which model of Digitrax I got, but I got a base station, and a DT400R wireless controller (although I usually plug it in.... cause I'm too cheap to buy batteries) . My HO is finished track wise.... half way with scenery. All my HO stuff has sound. I need to take a video of my N Scale sometime for ya. All of my engines have been custom programmed (my layout is computer controlled too). I got a pair of Amtrak P42's (Kato's) that I rewired so every light on it is an individual LED or bulb.... hit the horn, the ditchlights flash and everything.... one of them is having a bug though, only one light flashes and I can't figure out why... the other just stays on .

I love the Kato engines. I run Kato powered Amtrak and Kato power NYC passenger trains and then also I run a NYC freight. It's quite a challenge keep the switches in the right postion, although they are all electrically controlled. It's a very expensive hobby and most of my time and money goes for my Camaro now. Someday, I will get serious again about getting the layout completed. I really do enjoy it.

your right about that..... All my N scale loco's are Kato and Atlas.... not cheap... plus the decoders too! I used to hang out with a bunch of guys and we'd build on each others (one guy had one all the way around his whole basement... it was crazy). Those guys became a bunch of assholes and kinda drove me away from it.... so I don't really do much anymore, but I deep down still enjoy it. That guy's was pretty amazing in the basement though... we'd run 130 car trains sometimes on it... multiples that size. He had around 400 locomotives and who knows how many cars.... we took a little model car and put a firecracker in it and stuck it on the tracks and hit it with a cheap loco we picked up at a yard sale.... it was pretty funny
