Journey and Bandit celebrating B-days this week? Happy birthday ladies!
My car's born-on date is somewhere around this time last year. Better check the frame again to be sure. I owe her a mid-year polish and wax job some time soon.

I hope you all don't mind me advertising for a minute, but on July 7th, the Corry Station Chief Petty Officer's Association is holding its 1st annual car show in the Home Depot parking lot on N. Davis Hwy in Pensacola. Any C5 owners, or other types of cars are welcome and would be greatly appreciated. This is going to be a fund raiser for our Chief Selectees for this year. If you are interested, registration will be from 9-11am. The show will go from 11-3(I believe). Cars will be judged at either 1 or 2. Sorry, i'm a little fuzzy on the exact times of events within the event. Either way, I know there is another event on the 7th, but we would greatly appreciate any participation in making this a successful 1st run. There will be a few vendors there...Papa John's (I think) and a few others, and Checkers, who is one of our sponsors has a location right across the street. Should be fun. I hope to see some of you there.

We are currently susposed to go down a river in Panama city, If I can get my son to go. He dosent like canoes or Kayacts. If we dont we migth give it a try..

I know it's short notice, but we just got information an event this coming Sat (Jun 30). One of our favorite restaurants is hosting a benefit for the Wounded Warrior Project. It is at Tucker Ducks Lunch box in Val'p. It is a Laua themed event, cost is $20 ( I believe) to cover the food, and if you haven't been there the food is outstanding. They are also having door prizes, games, music, free beer and "shot girls". They are also looking for cars for a show and shine. If anyone can make it, it would be appreciated.
