Parked my company truck at the shop and Went out for a therapy session this morning, threw it thru some nice twisty curves pretty hard, running some errands on the scenic route for work. Then i came home and parked the company truck again in favor of some more errands in the IROC. Sometimes it’s nice to just punish them them a little bit and enjoy a nice semi white knuckle ride.

Did a few things. Added heat shield material to the cold air intake walls. Not sure if it'll make any difference, but we'll see. Installed the windshield washer tank relocation kit from phastek.
Did pcv mod, and installed a catch can.
Been interested in the laminator intake mod for a while, but they've been out of stock for a long time. So i did my own. Filled the intake plenum hole with jb weld and shaped it to be smooth.
So far, the heat shield mod and windshield washer relocation have made about 5 degrees difference on the intake temperature according to the Torque app. Been too wet out to do any good pulls too see if there been a difference in hp. Seems a bit better based on how it feels in the seat though.

Thank you. And yes the mats are very dirty currently as the car is partially torn apart for the full cage installation.

I'm a bit of a safety enthusiast so I've always felt uncomfortable in a high HP vert. Your car is going to look WICKED with that full cage. Can't wait to see!

Thank you. It’s been sooo hard with the waiting but it should look great. Cage will be white.

Here are the seats and harnesses. I have 5 points but we just did 4 to see how it looks.

Fairly new Fifth Gen owner here but I've been plugging away at zeroing out our new to us 2013 SS/RS. All fluids and filters got replaced as well as a new Borla ATAK system installed and JRE dipstick while servicing the trans.

Also spent some time detailing the engine bay and truck area by removing all plastic panels, cleaning and treating with 303 before reinstalling.

Thank you. I am pretty pleased with it for a 10-year old car. Looked for several months until we found "the one" that was virgin and unmolested but clean. It only had 61k miles when we bought it and just has taken some TLC to bring it back.

Installed the Pedal Commander!!!! Wow, the V-6 really moves now. Seriously, I'm very happy with it.
