Notice they are taking pictures of the Mustang and not the Camaro. STAGED!

The mustang has more power, even if this match was staged expect the 2011 mustang to be faster then the 2010 camaro.

The mustang has 373 rear end gears as opposed to the camaro's 345. Big difference.

It was probably an L99 on the regular gas tables

Mustang has significantly shorter 1 st gear ratio and I think the camaros tire package is a little taller.
Camaro's tires are so much taller than GTOs that they would need a 3.91 to equal our 3.46s.

Even if it was, it still would not be that bad. Just listen to the exhaust, you only hear one car really, $100 says the driver of the Camaro never even floored it.

Clearly since you can't buy a 5.0 yet these are ford propaganda videos so till motortrend does a write up I'm not to worried.

not sure what you mean.......I did some reading and the 5.0 with those gears will shift out of 3rd at around 105 so if its trapping 110 thats in 4th so that car will have to shif from 3rd to 4th between the 1000ft mark and the finish line which is killer this has been my point its really good trap when having to shift that late and still get that trap speed

The video looked fake, but honestly after reading the specs of the new Stang, I think it will be quicker and faster than the 2010 Camaro.

Think about it did you really expect Ford to sit quiet when their coupe is not selling while their biggest rival's coupe cannot keep up with the demand?

Ford is financially in a much better place than GM and it would be ridic to think that they would just watch the show and not do anything. Having said that, the Stang is still not a head turner and won't be until they change the shape.

So Camaro in my eyes is still a winner!
