Instead of being known for the reverse hood ill be known for the only one in the eastern coast with the Rideskinz front end

Plus ill still have my custom hood, just will open normal, not reverse.
Tim, I've got a question, can the existing hinge be modified or is there a specific part of the hinge that is the problem. I do quite a bit of fabrication and may be able to make something that will work. If you think it's possible let me know I'd be glad to help if I can.

Well on a side note, with the hood going back to normal, you will be able to view my upcoming SLP TVS2300 Supercharger alot easier!. Will be putting out 600HP.

We spent a solid 6 hours trying everything. The hinge itself is fine. Its the new bumper thats got more of a larger aggressive nose and the hood being pointed. When thie hinge opens the point of the hood goes down allowing the back to swing up. When it does this its scraping the new bumper. So really the only way to fix it that wont effect the hood lines is to shave the new bumper down and repaint, but no way im doing that.

Heres a pic showing how much more is actually in the nose. you can tell the top of the bumper is actually higher and longer, as well as the center part of the bumper.

I may not be understanding this correctly but if the hood is scraping the bumper when opened wouldn't a shorter arm on the hinge stop it from going down so far. I've not seen your hinge but making one from what I've seen on other applications may not be a big deal

Uhh Mr. Officer, I think someone robbed a bank. We know there is no money tree in his backyard, yet this Tim guy seems to have a lot of cash for mods. I think an investigation is warranted!

No...sorry hard to explain. Its fine when is opened. Its when im closing the tip of the hood is hitting the top tip of the bumper when its just about closed. So in therory i would shave the bumper down and it will clear. The reason i have the blue tape on the bumper is cause it was hitting. So we raised the hood and hinge a bit so it now clears the bumper, but in doing that the hood gap is now big enought to fit fingers in.

Tim, donate the hood to me.. It'll work on my race car. I'll get rid of all the hinges and use hood pins.
I'll make it a lift off hood. There's enough holes in it for me to grab it to lift it off.

now about the color..
